Quick story. Last summer I went to a pool party where I had the delightful opportunity to enjoy a slice of a delicious chocolate cake. A friend of the hostess had brought it and when I inquired about how to make it, this lovely baker kindly explained that it was a “secret” family recipe and that she was forbidden to share it.
Ummmmm, really?
Naturally I protested. After all, we need more fabulous chocolate cake in the world! I will likely never meet her family! And wouldn’t they WANT to make other people happy with this scrumptiousness?!
Nope. No recipe for me. Grrrrrrrr.
That’s not how I roll. Whether it’s a recipe, secret shortcuts through LA traffic or my favorite store to buy gifts, I love hooking someone up with insights that inspire smiles.
