Hi again. As you may have noticed, it’s been a few weeks since I’ve graced your inbox. This summer my family and I took some much needed downtime for some adventures in nature. There is something so powerful about unplugging, surrounding yourself with the sounds of crashing waves / chirping crickets / leaves blowing in the wind that help you connect with the power of this planet. For me, in addition to hiking in the redwoods and swimming in the sea, I got to pause and reflect on my mission, my purpose and how to bring more light into this world. I mean, how can you not be inspired by the incredible vista at our latest campsite at Jalama State Beach, just North of Santa Barbara, CA?
Which brings me to today’s big announcement. After much urging (for years, actually) I’m launching my podcast. Yes, I preach about the power of video and YES it’s a fabulous way to connect with your audience and build a tribe of fans, but I have found myself enjoying podcasts just as much. I was delighted that I was interviewed recently by John Lee Dumas, of Entrepreneur on Fire. Watching his explosive growth truly inspired me to get started once and for all. On Saturday, our interview will go live! If you care to listen, I’ll be posting links on Twitter and Facebook tomorrow. Come! Let’s connect there as well, shall we?
Now, for the best announcement of all… My first podcast is actually an interview with my Grandma Carol. She’s 95 years old and as smart as the day is long. After so many interesting conversations I decided it was high time I shared her insights about aging, communication and even social media… Needless to say, she is one special lady.
Thanks for being a part of this community and by all means, I would LOVE to hear from you. What topics are you longing to learn more about? What amazing people can I interview on your behalf? Any interest in being interviewed yourself? I’m all ears.
After you watch the video, grab a cup of something hot, grab those earbuds and enjoy the conversation with my Grandma. And if you like what I’m up to, then please take a moment and leave a review in iTunes. Thanks!
