Today I am pulling back the curtain and sharing my less-than-stellar moments in front of the camera. Why?
1. Who doesn’t love a good blooper? (Where we got that name, I have no idea.)
2. To show you that I frequently mess up, and when I do, I brush it off and keep going.
I struggled with making videos five years ago. I would film alone in a room for hours on end. After all that work, I felt uncertain that anyone would care what I had to say, let alone purchase a course from me. But here I am, 6 courses later with over 7500 students around the world. Now all that effort feels like it has truly made a difference in the world.
You see, in order to make the jump from aspirational idea to a thriving business, you need to take action. I’m not saying it’s easy or comfortable – especially at the start – but when you do make a commitment to making your dreams a reality, you find the courage to dig deep and GO FOR IT.
You don’t have to be afraid. You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to wait to get started.
It’s cool to screw up. Just see for yourself.
P.S. Next week I’m launching an all new FREE video training series. If you have been sitting on the sidelines waiting to find the courage to speak up, then you will love this program. I can’t wait to share it with you!
