We’re thrilled to be hosting this retreat at Imiloa Institute, a center for transformational leaders located in the Costa Rican jungle just north of Dominical, deep in the Savegre Mountains and overlooking the Pacific Ocean. They offer impeccable attention to detail with love infused into everything they do. After we gather in San Jose, you’ll be whisked away by private plane (a short 15-minute ride!) and greeted with open arms to Imiloa’s magical campus where a team of heart-centered staff take care of us for five glorious nights and six stunning days.

Robert is an artist, storyteller, editor, and creative force who brings a sense of play, wonder, and deep curiosity into everything he does. As a film editor, writer, and visual artist, he’s spent years helping people see their own stories in a whole new way. At Wish Camp, Robert will lead interactive creative exercises, playful storytelling sessions, and artistic explorations designed to wake up your imagination and help you express yourself more freely.

Nestled between the pristine beaches of the Pacific Ocean and the lush rainforests, this lovely retreat center offers a sanctuary for rejuvenation and exploration. You’ll enjoy awe-inspiring waterfalls, gorgeous jungles, and exotic wildlife – from Blue Morpho butterflies to the chorus of toucans. The rainforest invites us to melt away our day-to-day personas so we can imagine (and experience!) an entirely new way of being.

Divinely Delicious Meals
Imiloa features 100% plant-based gourmet meals (three times a day) prepared by their talented chefs and kitchen team. In addition, snacks, juices, tea, and coffee are available throughout the day. All water on campus is safe to drink as it’s filtered three times and comes from Imiloa’s well. And, you’ll be amazed by each unique Costa Rican dish from its beautiful presentation to your hungry tummy. We promise you’ll be satisfied even if you’re new to vegan cuisine! If you have any food allergies or special dietary needs, we will gladly take care of you throughout your stay.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this retreat for couples only?
- Not at all! Wish Camp is for everyone—whether you’re coming solo, with a friend, or as a couple. It’s a welcoming space designed for connection, creativity, and personal transformation. No matter how you arrive, you’ll be part of an inspiring community ready to explore, recharge, and wish big together!
What is included in my ticket purchase?
- Two pre-retreat Zoom calls with Alexa and Robert to get you prepared
- Round-trip airfare between San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO) and the Imiloa retreat center
- Five nights shared or single occupancy in Imiloa (depending on which room type you select and pay for at registration)
- Ground transportation while at Imiloa during the retreat
- All meals, snacks, and beverages while at Imiloa during the retreat (Imiloa is a no-alcohol, non-smoking, vegan facility)
- Group activities during the retreat
- High-speed internet in each room, but intentionally not available in certain common areas
What is not included in my ticket purchase?
- Transportation from your origin point to San Jose, Costa Rica, and back
- Any private excursions or activities outside of the retreat
- Spa treatments or special personal services at Imiloa
- Gratuities for Imiloa staff, personal services, and/or purchases
- Travel, accident, health, or life insurance
- Any souvenirs or other purchases made while in Costa Rica
Do you offer a payment plan?
- Yes. We offer an installment plan with five easy payments. The five installments will be automatically charged to your credit card approximately every 30 days.
Do you offer refunds?
- We do not offer refunds for Wish Camp: Costa Rica. There are a limited number of spots available, and by registering, you are committing to paying the full amount for the room you select.
How many people will be at this retreat?
- Wish Camp: Costa Rica has a maximum of 28 people.
How does transportation work? How do I get to Imiloa?
- If arriving on the same day your retreat starts, arrival to San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO) should be prior to 7:00 am local time. If this is not possible, please book your flight the day before and spend the extra night in San Jose.
- The complimentary group charter flight to Imiloa departs at 9:15 am local time on the first day of your retreat.
- After the retreat, your departure flight from SJO should be after 1:00 pm.
Where do I fly to in Costa Rica?
- San Jose (Juan Santamaria) International Airport in Costa Rica. The airport code is “SJO.”
How long is the flight to Imiloa?
- About 25 minutes long from wheels up to wheels down.
Do we have to take the small airplane to Imiloa?
- Included in your retreat experience at Imiloa is the small plane we charter privately for just your retreat group. This is already included in your stay with us. However, if you prefer ground transportation, this can be set up as an alternative; however, there will be an additional cost. Please inquire at welcomehome@imiloainstitute.com for more information.
